SALES / TRADE COUNTER ASSISTANT

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Telesales / Trade Counter Assistant to join our team at a busy and well-established timber and builders merchants.

This is a dual-role position ideal for someone with strong product knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a background in customer service within the construction supply industry.

​

Key Responsibilities:
Handling inbound and outbound telesales calls

Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers

Processing orders, quotes and enquiries efficiently

Serving customers at the trade counter in a friendly and professional manner

Providing accurate product information and advice

Coordinating with warehouse and delivery teams to ensure smooth service

Do you have what we need?:
Experience working in a timber or builders merchants (trade counter or telesales) is essential

Confident, professional telephone manner

Strong product knowledge of building materials

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Good IT skills and attention to detail

Ability to work as part of a team and under pressure
